Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment (CHCE) is a 501(C)3 tax-exempt organization, founded in 1978 by the Chestnut Hill Community Association to provide programs for older adults living in that community of northwest Philadelphia.
We are a membership organization for the enrichment of life after 50 for residents of northwest Philadelphia and eastern Montgomery County by offering a variety of programs and classes.

The Center has a two-person staff, and a Board of Governors which meets monthly. As well as being responsible for the governance of the organization, the Board is active in planning and executing fund-raising events throughout the year.
Funding for the Center for Enrichment comes through a combination of membership dues, member- and Board-led fundraising events, grants from foundations and charitable organizations and contributions from individual donors. In fact, a PayPal button is conveniently located on our website Donate page.
